There are three volunteer positions for which you may apply. However, REACH reserves the right to place applicants in the position that is of greatest need or, according to staff discretion, best suits your abilities:
- Counselor – Matched to 1 to 3 children, teens or young adults. Spends time throughout the day. Discipline left mostly to parents.
- Rover – Assists with set-up, take down, and other behind-the-scenes activity. May help with stray campers if needed.
- Driver – Drives a REACH child or family to and/or from camp. Mileage costs can be tracked for tax-deductions.

REGISTRATION FEE |
There is a non-refundable registration fee of $25 for all camp participants, including volunteers to help subsidize the cost of food and housing for the 4-day camp, normally a $350 cost to REACH for each person. Upon completion of this application you will be directed to a page to make your debit or credit card payment. (If you do not have a debit or credit card, please contact the Camp Director at the REACH office.) You will also have the option of making an additional donation.
In addition to paying the registration fee, what fundraising strategies can you initiate and/or assist in fulfilling to help cover the cost of your participation or that of a REACH child?

TRAINING |
|
Volunteers who have attended the last three consecutive camps (2009-201`) may attend a refresher course instead of the 5.5 hour Unit ABC Training session. All other volunteers must attend a 5.5 hour training including Policy/Procedures (A), Medical (B) and Psychosocial (C) information. You must participate in one of the trainings or you will be unable to volunteer at camp.
